As Approved Activity Providers (AAP), for Volunteering and Residential, our activity centres are the ideal places to complete certain elements of your pupils’ Duke of Edinburgh Award.

“Volunteering is simple. It’s about choosing to give time to help people, the community or society, the environment or animals.”

How we can help: Volunteer at one of our centres on a regular basis, working in the shop or helping with maintenance, activities or admin.

“For your Expedition section, you will need to plan, train for and complete an unaccompanied, self-reliant expedition with an agreed aim.”

How we can help: Use our centres as the base for your expedition. Different centres are suitable for different levels, depending on the local terrain.

Residential (Gold only)

“For your Residential section you need to undertake a shared activity or specific course with people you don’t know, in a residential setting away from home and in an unfamiliar environment. The residential activity should normally take place over at least five consecutive days with a minimum of four nights spent away.”

How we can help: Stay at our centres.
