As we celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee this year, we’re taking part in this special beacon lighting event. Beacons are being lit around the country, including by the Queen at Windsor Castle.
At least 70 beacons will be lit by Girlguiding members across the UK and beyond to mark each year the Queen has been on the throne. We’ll be lighting beacons at each of our centres as part of this event. We’d love you to join us in these celebrations – everyone is welcome!
At this free event you can explore the grounds, take part in a treasure hunt and enjoy the lighting of the beacon. You can also visit our food stalls and buy tickets for our adventurous activities to make the evening extra special. If you’re a guiding member, there’s more information about our special packages below so that you can make the most of everything on offer – and get a badge – at a cheaper price!
There’s also two beacon lighting events taking place at Glenbrook. Find out more about what’s on offer on the Glenbrook beacon events webpage.
