If you want to meet other members and complete your residential sections for Queen’s Guide Award or DofE Gold at a national activity centre then we have the event for you.

What activities will I do?

The week will be full of adventure and you’ll enjoy a range of adventurous activities including:

Paddle Start skills, Archery, Crate stack, Climbing, Bushcraft.

You will also get an offsite adventure day, more information to follow.

Will I gain any qualifications?

You’ll achieve the British Canoeing Paddle Start Award.

What do I need to bring?

A full kit list will be provided ahead of the event

What does the event price include?

The price includes 5 days of activity and 4 nights camping accommodation with full board. Tents will be provided.

Offsite visits and the British Canoeing Paddle Start Qualification are included in the price.

What else do I need to know?

You’ll need to arrange your own travel to and from the centre.

This event is for girls without their leaders.

This event is for girls aged 16-25, in-line with the Queen’s Guide Award and DofE Gold Award.

Please note, this 4 night residential should meet the requirements set out for both the Queen’s Guide Award and DofE Gold Award. Please check with your award coordinator or adviser before registering.
