Bring your Rainbow or Brownie unit to Glenbrook to explore tents, fire lighting and how to prepare for an adventure. And gain a badge – we all love a badge!

Dedicated staff and volunteers will be on hand to share their expertise and first-hand experiences to enable unit volunteers to develop confidence. All activity equipment will be provided.

Girls will learn:

• Practise putting up a tent
• Decide what you need to pack for camp
• Build and light a fire
• Be safe around the fire
• Get changed by torchlight

Leaders will need to supervise their young people and follow Girlguiding ratios for their section.

• Your day kit list should include: change of clothes, waterproofs, warm clothes, sun hat, sun cream, trainers or sturdy shoes
• Hot and cold drinks provided
