Friends of Waddow have supported Waddow Hall throughout the years and have been vital to the work we do. Thanks to their donations we have been able to offer many new activities including the zip wire, low ropes course and archery at our centre.

There is still so much more we want to do – with your help we can make sure that Waddow Hall continues to grow and suits the needs of all young members, leaders, Trefoil Guild members, partners, friends and colleagues.

You can join as an individual Friend of Waddow for as little as £12 per year. It’s £30 per year for a group and you can become a lifetime member for a one-off payment of £250.

Your subscription helps to develop new activities and improve our residential and training facilities – in fact, the whole estate. As a Friend, you’ll receive our annual newsletter keeping you up to date on all developments across the centre, together with the opportunity to attend the Friends of Waddow AGM weekend held in July. Members are also welcome to come and help out in more practical ways, by volunteering during our working weeks in March and September.

You don’t have to be a member of Girlguiding to join. We accept applications from anyone who has enjoyed spending time in the beautiful surroundings of Waddow Hall and would like to make a difference to its future. We’re also very happy to help you give gift membership to Friends of Waddow on those special occasions.

If you’re interested in becoming a Friend of Waddow, please complete an application form or contact us for more information.
