Participants must squeeze through cracks and navigate through natural rock in this off-site activity.
8 people 2 – 2.5 hours activity Glenbrook

Weaselling is the local name in the Peak District for a fun rock-based activity. Set in a picturesque location around a natural crag, you’ll crawl through tunnels, squeeze through crevices and jump across rocks! This has been a very popular activity for many years in the area with outdoor groups.

You’re guaranteed to have a great time (as well as getting wet and muddy!).

Weaselling sessions are run by our qualified activity instructors – they’ll keep you safe and adapt the session to suit the group, doing their best to help everyone enjoy the challenge.

No experience is necessary as our instructors will teach you everything you need to know.

All specialist equipment is provided, but you’ll need to wear outdoor appropriate clothing. We recommend trousers and closed-toe shoes that won’t slip off (trainers or walking boots). Long hair must be tied back and all jewellery must be removed.

We can work with you to make this activity accessible for different abilities and needs. Please contact the centre to talk about any accessibility requirements.

The maximum group size for this activity is for up to 8 people and takes approximately 2 – 2.5 hours. Participants will need to organise their own transport to Higger Tor (near Hathersage) – approximately 20 minutes drive from Glenbrook.
