12 people 60 - 90 minute activity Waddow Hall

Grab your net, bucket and magnifying glass and discover the creatures hiding in the watery worlds of our ponds. There’s an amazing world just beneath the surface. Pond dipping is great fun for all ages, as long as there are adults to supervise the little ones.

Pond dipping session are self-led – you’ll be given all the information you need on the day, and no previous experience is needed. If you would like a member of our team to lead your session, for an additional charge, just get in touch.

Rain and bad weather won’t stop play – you might get muddy so don’t wear anything you’d mind getting dirty. If there is rain forecast, you might want to bring a change of clothes. We recommend wearing comfortable clothes, with shorts or trousers, and closed-toe shoes.

We can work with you to make this activity accessible for different abilities and needs. Please contact the centre to talk about any accessibility requirements.
