A traditional activity where participants work together to build rope ladders, bridges, swings, fences and catapults.
Up to 12 people 90 minute activity FoxleaseGlenbrookWaddow Hall

Have a go at building your own rope ladders, bridges, towers, A-frames, swings, fences and giant catapults from wood and rope. You can go it alone or as part of a team.

Pioneering sessions are self-led (self-led or instructor led at Glenbrook) – you’ll be given all the information you need on the day, and no previous experience is needed. If you would like a member of our team to lead your session, for an additional charge, just get in touch.

You’ll need to wear outdoor appropriate clothing. We recommend trousers and closed-toe shoes that won’t slip off (trainers or walking boots). Rain and bad weather won’t stop play – you might get muddy so don’t wear anything you’d mind getting dirty.

We can work with you to make this activity accessible for different abilities and needs. Please contact the centre to talk about any accessibility requirements.
