Get out in the great outdoors and learn how to build shelters, light fires and other skills essential for survival.
Sessions are run by our qualified activity instructors – they’ll keep you safe and adapt the session to suit the group, doing their best to help everyone enjoy the challenge. No experience is necessary as our instructors will teach you everything you need to know.
All specialist equipment is provided, but you’ll need to wear outdoor appropriate clothing. We recommend trousers and closed-toe shoes that won’t slip off (trainers or walking boots). Long hair must be tied back and all jewellery must be removed.
Rain and bad weather won’t stop play – you might get muddy so don’t wear anything you’d mind getting dirty. If there is rain forecast, you might want to bring a change of clothes.
We can work with you to make this activity accessible for different abilities and needs. Please contact the centre to talk about any accessibility requirements.
