Climb to the top of the tower (At Glenbrook this will take place at Millers Dale Viaduct or on a rock face) and then put your trust in the rope – and the instructor – as you take the plunge. Descend from the top at a pace that suits you and then enjoy the buzz on your way to the ground.
Abseiling sessions are run by our qualified activity instructors – they’ll keep you safe and adapt the session to suit the group, doing their best to help everyone enjoy the challenge.
No experience is necessary as our instructors will teach you everything you need to know.
All specialist equipment is provided, but you’ll need to wear outdoor appropriate clothing. We recommend trousers and closed-toe shoes that won’t slip off (trainers or walking boots). Long hair must be tied back and all jewellery must be removed. There is a maximum weight limit of 100kg for this activity.
We can work with you to make this activity accessible for different abilities and needs. Please contact the centre to talk about any accessibility requirements.
*At Glenbrook the maximum group size for this activity is 10 people and up to 2 hours. You’ll need to organise your own transport to the activity location.
